INSTITUTIONAL STRUCTURE

SPEAR is a registered non-partisan, non-governmental organization whose members meet at an Annual General Meeting to elect a Board of Directors and give direction to its work. The AGM is the highest legislative body.
The Board of Directors is made up of nine elected members. The Programme Director sits on the board without vote and is responsible for managing the staff and work of the organization. Regular internal monitoring and planning sessions are held in addition to regular staff and board meetings.
